What began in the underground has now become a powerhouse in the cannabis space, offering over 70 proprietary cannabis cultivars and more than 2,000 products. Since opening its first retail location in 2018, Cookies has expanded to over 70 retail stores across more than 20 markets and 6 countries. The brand was named one of AdAge’s Hottest Brands in America — the first time a cannabis company has received this honor. Berner, born Gilbert Anthony Milam Jr. (10/27/1983), is a visionary entrepreneur and business mogul whose documentary films, Billboard-charting rap albums, and innovations in the fashion and cannabis industries have earned him an international following of loyal and enthusiastic supporters.

Berner is Co-Founder and CEO of Cookies, the premier cannabis brand with over 70 retail locations across 6 countries. In 2021 Cookies was the first cannabis brand ever named by AdAge as one of America’s Hottest Brands and in 2022 Berner became the first cannabis executive on the cover of Forbes magazine.

Berner is also the Founder and CEO of Cookies SF, a global streetwear and accessories brand with 4 retail locations across the U.S. and Europe (SF, LA, NYC and Vienna, Austria). Berner’s business portfolio includes 12/12 Ventures, Cookies SF, Hemp2o Water, Lemonnade, Santa Cruz Shredders, Social Club, and Vibes. Berner founded Bern One Entertainment Music Label, has received a RIAA Gold® and a RIAA Platinum® awards for two separate albums, and will release his 50th album as an independent artist in December 2023.
